Amateur Showcase
New this year, we will be offering an amateur showcase on Friday, March 16, 2012. Competitors will have the opportunity to perform a solo routine to a music selection of their choice.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: All Competitor Entries should be received by March 1, 2012. Entries are not complete without payment.

- Collegiate Competitor — $25
- Youth/Junior Competitor — $15
RULES & REGULATIONS
- Style - Routines can be in any style: Smooth, Rhythm, Standard or Latin. Limit of two entries per couple
- Time Limit - The time limit will be up to two minutes. Please bring music on a CD to the day of the event to the music technician. Include your name on the CD and specific instructions, if applicable.
- Lifts - Lifts are NOT permitted during the solo performance.
- Props and dresses - No props shall be permitted during entrance, performance and exit. “Props” shall include such items of furniture and items that are not a part of your costume. Fans, capes and hats are permissible if not discarded. Taking off clothes and discarding them during the performance is not permissible.
